Our carefully curated cannabis products and art gallery celebrate the synergistic relationship between art and cannabis, and The Artist Tree allows you to shop for both in one place. We highlight local art from a diverse array of artists through permanent murals and rotating exhibits. Our Koreatown location is the newest Artist Tree store, while our other Los Angeles area stores are located in West Hollywood and and Beverly Hills.

Situated on Western Ave., our Koreatown location is in the center of a diverse neighborhood full of eclectic dining options, trendy nightlife, and plenty of street art. This vibrant and active community is the most densely populated area of Los Angeles County, with many students from nearby USC residing here. Walking around, you’ll find some of the tastiest food in the entire city of LA. We’re proud to serve the Koreatown community by providing a safe and welcoming shopping destination and an outlet for local artists.
We have lovingly restored the historic building at 520 S. Western Ave., which dates back to the 1930s. We have merged our modern gallery aesthetic with the building’s original vaulted ceilings, massive windows, and wrought iron beams in our upstairs showroom. We have also decorated the building exterior with an original mural by local artist, Matty Mo. Matty Mo is a Los Angeles-based contemporary artist and impactful figure in LA’s art scene. He is best known for creating the conceptual art group, “The Most Famous Artist.” Through this platform he creates social media-themed installations, performance art and exhibitions. His goal is to challenge viewers to look at how technology and the internet impacts society. He is best known for his numerous murals throughout the city including the “most Instagrammable wall” in Venice. Mo’s colorful geometric mural spans the entire exterior of The Artist Tree Koreatown storefront.
Our Koreatown dispensary offers a variety of cannabis products to satisfy every type of cannabis consumer. We offer an array of flower, edibles, vapes, extracts, tinctures, and topicals from almost one hundred different brands including Backpack Boyz, MX by Moxie, KIVA, STIIIZY, Alien Labs, Connected, and 710 Labs. We even offer seeds from Purple City Genetics for anyone trying to grow at home.
We’re proud to feature artwork from Upendo Taylor in Koreatown location’s inaugural art exhibit. Upendo is a Watts, California native who blends fonts, verbiage, illustrations, apparel, abstract art, and design. This combination creates what he calls “Graphic Poetry,” which is a combination of hand-drawing, computer design, and paint. The Artist Tree is thrilled to feature over 30 of Upendo’s works and an original mural as part of our current exhibit. All artwork displayed is for sale with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artist.
