The Artist Tree brand was created specifically for the purpose of opening a one-of-a-kind consumption lounge in the city of West Hollywood. In 2018, The Artist Tree team was thrilled when the the City of West Hollywood legalized the opening of cannabis lounges. The team envisioned The Artist Tree brand to highlight the connection between art and cannabis in a stylish and inviting lounge environment. Their goal was to enhance the arts through cannabis by providing a forum for local artists. It just so happened that The Artist Tree’s West Hollywood retail location opened before the smoking lounge, but the lounge launch is right around the corner!
The Place Where Everyone Belongs
The Artist Tree’s upcoming lounge, “The Studio,” will continue The Artist Tree’s mission of connecting the community through art, exploration, and cannabis conversation. The Studio will feature comfortable table seating, an outdoor patio, table-side food service, floor to ceiling artwork displays, and a variety of entertainment from local artists. The lineup will include local musicians, DJs, and comedians, creating a space for a wide range of entertainers and artists to showcase their work. In addition, The Studio will offer creative activities that pair perfectly with cannabis! From tasting events to yoga and art classes, you’ll be able to explore your creative side while, of course, consuming cannabis freely in a private space (21+ only).
The Studio’s atmosphere was designed to be the ideal spot for sparking up and grabbing a bite with friends, just like your favorite bar. Like our dispensary, the aesthetic will be art-focused with a rotating display of featured exhibitions by talented local artists. All products available at our retail store will be available to purchase and consume in The Studio, from 710 LABS concentrates, to CBX and Connected flower to KIVA edibles and Heavy Hitter’s vapes. With 700 cannabis products available for you to enjoy, you can customize your lounge experience each time you visit.

The Artist Tree Lounge and COVID-19
The Artist Tree’s unique smoking lounge will be one of the only (if not the only) cannabis consumption lounges in Southern California. We will be taking COVID-19 protocols very seriously and value our guests’ safety above everything else.
In preparation for the launch of The Studio, we’re constantly monitoring the CDC Guidelines to ensure to create the safest environment possible. This includes adherence to stringent cleaning schedules and regularly disinfecting all surfaces and equipment. We will also offer both indoor and outdoor seating areas to provide options for those who prefer to smoke and eat outdoors.
When and Where Can I Visit?
Get ready to kick off the holiday season at The Studio! The Studio is currently under development, but the completion date is rapidly approaching. Construction is nearing completion with a planned opening date of November/December 2021. Mark your calendars, because you’ll want to be in West Hollywood for the grand opening.
